Background | Troponin (Tn) is a protein that regulates the contraction of muscle tissue. It is located on the fine myofilaments of contractile proteins and plays an important role in the regulation of muscle contraction and relaxation. It contains three subtypes: quick response type; Slow-response type and cardiac troponin (cTn). The former two are associated with skeletal muscle, while cardiac troponin is only present in cardiomyocytes and is derived from troponin T (cTnT); Troponin I (cTnI); A complex of three subunits of troponin C (cTnC), cTnI is a protein unique to cardiomyocytes. |
We can offer labeled proteins/antibodies using a broad range of intensely fluorescent dyes and labels including FITC, Biotin, Alexa Fluor, Rhodamine B, Cy, Co-Au.
