Background | CTLA-4 has a full name of cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4, also known as CD152. Its gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 2 band 33 (2q33), mainly expressed on the surface of activated T cells, and has a high homology with the co-stimulatory molecule receptor CD28 on the surface of T cells. |
